Call or check with the airport information counter. The counter is located in the center of the terminal across from the escalators. The phone number is 864.877.7426.
How should I dress to travel?
Metal in or on clothing, including shoes, may set-off the walk-through metal detector. Avoid this inconvenience if you can by not wearing excessive jewelry; big buckle belts and other metal items. Wear shoes that are metal free such as tennis shoes or other rubber sole shoes.
How early should I arrive for my flight?
The recommended arrival time is 90 minutes before departure. This time may be adjusted for holiday and other busy travel days.
Where should I park if I’m just picking someone up?
The recommendation is that all visitors park in one of the parking lots or garages conveniently located next to the terminal. Parking in front of the terminal building is prohibited. This area is restricted to active loading and unloading of passengers. Cars left unattended for any reason for any length of time in front of the terminal will be ticketed and are subject to be towed at the owners’ expense.
You cannot leave your car to carry bags inside nor can you leave your car to go inside to check the status of flight.
If you are traveling with a companion, you may drop the companion and the bags off in front of the terminal and then go park your vehicle. If you are traveling alone, you must carry your bags from the parking lot/garage to the terminal.
Free luggage carts are available in the long-term parking lot and both garages. Skycap service is available to Delta, Continental, and Northwest Airlines passengers only.
Customer Service agents and volunteers are on duty and stationed in front of the terminal at various times of the day. They are available to render assistance to all passengers loading and unloading, needing wheelchair assistance, the elderly and those traveling with small children. This assistance is provided as a courtesy and does not require payment of any kind including tips.
How do I know what I can and can’t pack inside my bag?
Think about the items you pack. Items that could be used as a weapon are not allowed. Medication should be in its original container with your name and the doctor’s name on it. Put all personal items inside clear plastic bags. A list of prohibited items can be found on the TSA website www.tsa.gov or check with the customer service department of the airline you’re traveling.
How many bags can I take?
Check bags are limited to two per passenger. Passengers may carry-on one bag plus one personal item like a purse, briefcase, laptop etc.
