Develops, manages, oversees, and exercises control over • The Airport’s IT Department, network infrastructure, firewalls and security issues, computer systems, cabling plant, and telecommunications operational activities including providing technical services, administration, documentation, and procurement.
This position is responsible for performing the duties required to manage the area of properties for the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (“District”). Such areas shall include overall property management and associated contract administration, terminal concessions management and administration, and ground transportation administration. The individual will be responsible for performing a variety of property, tenant, and concession management/development activities required which will include drafting and negotiation of request for proposals/bids and lease agreements, and inspection of District land and facilities. This position shall also be responsible for assisting with the administration of the Airport Environs Area.
Under direct supervision, manages use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintains airport compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, and all other applicable statutes, regulations and requirements and ensures the safety and security of all airport users. Communicates and assists all airport stakeholders.
