This position is responsible for performing the duties required to manage the area of properties for the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (“District”). Such areas shall include overall property management and associated contract administration, terminal concessions management and administration, and ground transportation administration. The individual will be responsible for performing a variety of property, tenant, and concession management/development activities required which will include drafting and negotiation of request for proposals/bids and lease agreements, and inspection of District land and facilities. This position shall also be responsible for assisting with the administration of the Airport Environs Area.
Public Relations Specialist II
As a valued member of the communications team this position will support the airport’s public relations initiatives and strategies while maintaining strong media relationships. The overall goal of this position is to aide in the enrichment of the airport’s position within the public eye.
Marketing- Community Relations Specialist II
This professional Marketing and Community Relations Specialist II will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and implementing marketing strategies and plans for the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. This position will also identify and coordinate community relations events that will present the Airport to our Upstate communities with a consistent brand and message.
Under direct supervision, manages use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintains airport compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 77 and 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, and all other applicable statutes, regulations and requirements and ensures the safety and security of all airport users. Communicates and assists all airport stakeholders.
Facilities Tech III- Electrical
Responsible for performing airport facilities maintenance, including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, airfield lighting and signage and general building repair.
Airport Operations Center- Dispatcher
Under general supervision, performs assigned duties in the Airport Operation Center (AOC).
Facilities Technician IV- Mechanical Lead
Perform maintenance on airport vehicles and equipment. Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the Shop Supervisor.
Airfield Grounds Technician I
Responsible for performing daily grounds and airfield maintenance.
Under direct supervision, performs assigned work and fire service functions. Have the ability to progress at a normal rate through various training activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
