By the Numbers

Get to Know GSP

The numbers tell a story.

The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport's mission is to advance the economic prosperity of the region by providing a safe, convenient, user-friendly and cost-competitive air transportation system connecting the region with the nation and world.

The numbers demonstrate that we are achieving that mission:

Passengers

More than 2 million passengers are served each year at GSP.

See the full list of passenger statistics.

Airlines

There are 5 major airlines that serve passengers at GSP. Combined, these airlines offer:

  • An average of 50 non-stop daily departures
  • Direct service to 14 major cities and 15 major airports across the U.S.

A connection in one of those cities makes access to the world easy from GSP.

Cargo Statistics

Nearly 30,000 tons are loaded on and off planes at GSP every year.

In addition to passenger cargo, GSP is home to a 120,000 square foot FedEx facility and handles flights from other cargo services.

See the full list of cargo statistics.

Physical Facilities

The GSP terminal has 322,446 square feet of space, third level jet bridge boarding, and 13 departure gates.

GSP's runway is 11,001 feet long accommodating any aircraft in operation today.
