Passenger Traffic Soaring to New Heights at GSP

Greer, SC The busy summer travel season is winding down but passenger traffic at GSP International Airport is on the rise. For June 2017, the most recent numbers available passenger traffic is up by a whopping 8.9% compared to June 2016.  “These are some of the strongest numbers we’ve seen in a while,” said GSP Airport District President/CEO Dave Edwards. “Having recently completed WINGSPAN our $125 million terminal renovation program and looking at these numbers, I feel like stealing a line from the movie Field of Dreams and say, if you build it they will come.”
